The producers of “The Simpsons” created this live action version of the show’s opening credit as a promotion. Maybe now this wonderful show about a dysfunctional animated American family will finally catch on!

…I wonder why the Producers decided to set this version in the UK, though. Maybe to avoid ‘locating’ Springfield in the U.S.?

This is a promotion running on British television, which is why they have Police Chief Wiggum as a bobby, etc.
